Revd. Sue Brewster
Each Wednesday during Lent, besides the usual Compline Service we will also be following the Stations of the Cross.  The Stations of the Cross depict the last hours of Jesus' life beginning with his trial before Pontius Pilate through to his crucifixion, death and burial in the tomb.
As we follow the story of the crucifixion we stop at each of the fourteen stations, signified by the white plaster casts around the wall of the church.  There we hear of Jesus suffering as he fell, met his mother, was helped by Simon, until he finally reached Golgotha where he was put to death.  Try to come along to this service at least once during Lent.  I am sure you will enjoy it.
