We have a very active Social Committee with a broad range of activities that provide the cement to hold the congregation together.

 

Another group that provides social events is the Children’s Charity Committee that raises funds specifically for children. This is the mainstay of our charity giving. Each year we give the equivalent of 10% of the Parish Purse to various charities.

Saturday 19th January

A Beetle Drive in the Vestry Hall at 7.30pm with soup, hot dogs, cake and coffee. £5

 

Saturday 16th February

Cockney Night in the Vestry Hall at 7.30pm Pie, Mash and Green Liquor followed by winter fruit salad and custard. £5

 

Saturday 8th March

Good Game - Good Game! in the Vestry Hall at 7.30pm with jacket potato (mince, chili or cheese) coffee and biscuits £5

 

Saturday 12th April

Race Night followed by sandwich platter, fruit and coffee £5

 

Saturday 17th May

Car Rally to start from the Vestry hall from 6.45pm. fish & chip supper. £5

 

Friday 20th June

Ramble details to follow Vestry hall. Cost £7

 

Saturday 19th July

BBQ in the Vestry Hall at 7.30pm. Cost £5

 

Saturday  August 2nd

Canal Trip details to follow. £15

 

Friday 19th September

Harvest Supper. Buffet supper to be provided by us all.

 

18th October

A Quiz in the Vestry Hall at 7.30pm. £5
