QUESTION. Why do so many couples choose All Saints’ Church for their wedding?
ANSWER. I don’t know. Perhaps it is our lovely church that is the attraction. Or is it the friendliness of our priests? Is it the country setting, the fine music, or a combination of all of these? Whatever it is, we know that you will not regret choosing All Saints’ Church for your big day.
Set in the heart of the Essex countryside but only a few minutes from the M25 and Southend Arterial Road, All Saints is secluded but is easy to reach with Upminster main line and underground station only a short distance away.
There is ample parking in the two car parks for up to 40 cars and rest room facilities are available in the adjoining Vestry Hall.
The churchyard is neat and well kept with settings ideal for those all important wedding pictures.
But it is the Church itself. As you enter this beautiful old building you instinctively know that this is what a church should look like. Wooden pews, stained glass windows, stone carvings, the altar, all make this a church ideal for your most important day. All Saints is not a big church, but will still hold some 150 people, so smaller groups will not feel lost in its cosy intimate atmosphere. We at All Saints pride ourselves on our church. It is your big day and if we can help to make it that little bit special with perhaps a personal choice of hymns, a particular flower arrangement, a special reading, then we will do our best. Come along to the church and have a look around. But be warned. Once you have seen our church, we know you will be convinced that this is the only setting you will want for that all important day.
To book a wedding come along to the Vestry Hall (next to the church) any Saturday between 10am and 11am
No appointment necessary.
